What we collect
Signup and onboarding: firm name, your name, email, phone, bar number, the states where you're barred, your Nostr public key, and your agreement records (which documents you accepted, when, and from what network address). We never receive or store your private key.
Listings: the open items (practice area, side, county, state, listing firm) and, sealed separately, the prospective client's name and contact information — submitted by the listing firm with that person's consent. Listings never contain a description of the matter.
Operations: a log of which verified lawyer unlocked which listing, kept to enforce the participation agreement; and routine technical logs.
How we use it
To run the venue: verifying licensure, provisioning and revoking access, showing listings to verified lawyers in the relevant states, enforcing the participation agreement, and contacting you about your account. We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it beyond what this page describes.
Who sees what
A prospective client's name and contact information are disclosed only to a verified lawyer who unlocks the listing, under the participation agreement. The listing firm is never told who unlocked. Unlock records are not shared with listing firms. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud, which processes data on our behalf.
Removal and retention
A prospective client can withdraw consent at any time — use the removal form on clientfeeds.com or have the listing firm tell us — and we remove the listing and delete the sealed name and contact information. Removal cannot recall information a lawyer already unlocked. We retain agreement records and unlock logs as long as needed to enforce the venue's rules and meet legal obligations.
Security
Access to the feed requires cryptographic authentication against a verified-member list; sealed information is stored separately from open listings; and every release of sealed information is logged. No system is perfectly secure — report concerns to the address below.
Contact and changes
